Steve Wells is co-chair of the Microsoft Alumni Foundation Integral Fellows committee for 2012. Steve served as an Integrals Fellow committee member in 2010-11 and is a Founder’s Circle member. Steve’s other non-profit experience includes the Seattle Shakespeare Company where served as a board member for four years and board chair for two years and the Cascade Land Conservancy where he served two years as an executive volunteer.
Steve was at Microsoft from 1988 through 1997 and worked in the systems division as Group Project Manager on OS/2 and the international division as Director of several Microsoft subsidiaries including Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Singapore.
In addition to his non-profit work Steve’s is a writer living in Medina. After leaving Microsoft he studied non-fiction writing at the University of Washington and recently published a short book. He has published several travel articles and is currently working on a novel.
While not spending time with his dogs and daughter, Steve is also an aspiring wine maker and has worked with several local wineries including DeLille Cellars. He enjoys most outdoor activities including running, hiking, skiing, and bicycling.
