Day of Caring 2011

Microsoft Alumni Respond to Matching Funds Challenge

$100 matching funds offered by Microsoft for each alumni volunteering through Day of Caring

For the first time, Microsoft Corporation offered to match alumni volunteer hours with $100 cash. The response was outstanding; more than 250 alumni helped raise over $25,000 for non-profit agencies.  From sorting baby clothes for families in need, to trimming blackberry bushes at local parks, to helping at local Boys and Girls Clubs, Seattle-area Microsoft employees and alumni volunteered side-by-side on Friday, September 16.

Here's a photo recap of the volunteer work being done throughout the day.  If you have your own photos to be included, please send them in and we'll add them to the collection.
