Welcome to Microsoft Volunteer Manager
Your skills based volunteer matching tool
Microsoft has a history of supporting employees’ philanthropic work and the organizations that inspire them. Now that support is extended to the Microsoft Alumni community with Volunteer Manager.

Volunteer Manager empowers volunteering by enabling users to customize a skill-based volunteer experience. That means you can either:
- search for opportunities based on your skills and interests OR
- you can publish your skills and interests in your profile and organizations will contact you with their matched opportunities.
In addition, you’ll have a single place to enter and track your volunteer hours with access from your PC or your Windows Phone.
Help your non-profit organizations maximize this tool.
As a MSAF member you can use Volunteer Manager to help your favorite non-profit organizations reach out to the expertise of both current and former Microsoft employees. Through online information and training sessions in the first quarter of 2012, you can learn how to write effective opportunities that attract volunteers and help us grow and improve the tool and the community. Remember with each Microsoft employee you help to match with an organization, comes the possibility of $17/hour matching benefits and the deep volunteer engagement Microsoft employees are known for!
Current MSAF members will receive an invitation to join from “Volunteer Manager Azure”in January. That mail will have the necessary instructions to complete the registration process.
