It's About Food. Can We Talk?
For most of us food is a given. Whether we love it or hate it, we know it will be there for us. But consider this:
- 1 in 5 kids is at risk for hunger.
- 1 in 3 kids is considered overweight or obese.
- 13% of residents are food-insecure.
At the Hunger Action Forum, we'll tackle these numbers. We’ll bring together food security experts, advocates, policymakers and community members to discuss: access to nutritious food, childhood and senior hunger, public policy and advocacy.
Join the conversation seeking to develop partnerships and innovative solutions to end hunger in King County.
