Our mission is to catalyze the collective power of the Microsoft alumni and focus our resources on innovative, scalable, transformative solutions to our world’s challenges.

Vision
Our vision is to bring together the 60,000+ alumni throughout the world and serve as a nexus to connect, inspire, recognize, and leverage our community to elevate us all.
How will we bring together that many alumni?
We intend to rely on the resources available to our alumni – the World Wide Web, social networking, and alumni ingenuity. One thing is clear to us – with 60,000 people – you get 60,000 ideas. We think that is a good thing. Our goal is to bring those people and those ideas together, identify those we can act on most effectively and then do so. The possibilities are infinite.
Imagine:
- If every alumnus gave $100, MSAF would raise $6 million.
- If each of them donated a mere 100 hours of time a year (17 minutes a day), according to the IRS, that would be worth $102 million in volunteer hours.
- If we worked together, imagine the potential for impact.
