From the offices of the Microsoft Alumni Foundation, we sincerely hope that everyone is enjoying a wonderful start to their summer. And if it's summer, it must be time for . . . Integral Fellows!

It is with great pride that we announce our 2012 Integral Fellows Award nominees.

Please continue to read on for comments from Sharon Maghie and Steve Wells, our Integral Fellows Committee co-chairs, and then check out this year's nominees. We hope you'll agree that when it comes to "doing philanthropy", our alumni have got it going on.

If you haven't already, mark October 1 on your calendar for Celebration 2012. The location and exciting guest speakers will be announced soon. You won't want to miss it!

Don't forget to visit our website often for the latest information, stories, and events about MSAF, members, alumni, and their nonprofit organizations.

You'll be hearing more from us throughout the summer, but for now, please read about the incredible work being done by our fellow alumni who compose this year's list of Integral Fellows nominees.

cochair Message from 2012 Integral Fellows Co-Chairs

Sharon MaghieSteve WellsIt seems like only yesterday over 500 of us were all gathered in the beautiful Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation headquarters, celebrating the 2011 Integral Fellows Awards. If you click here you can relive some of the events and recognition from that inspirational evening. But in actuality it has been over 6 months and it is now time to focus on our next crop of nominees.

As the Microsoft Alumni Foundation launches the Integral Fellows Awards Program for 2012, we celebrate our fourth year of recognizing the amazing philanthropic achievements of our alumni.

Spanning conservation, climate, kids, technology, and even elfdom, the 2012 nominees take on philanthropic endeavors that cover many different areas. But what they all have in common is the ability to drive us all to do more based on what they are accomplishing.

In our role as Co-Chairs, we are honored to help recognize and support the inspiring efforts of all of our fellow alumni who, through their dedication, passion, and creativity, so greatly improve the world around us. Our committee of volunteers, with the help of our esteemed panel of external judges, give you our commitment to review and evaluate all of our nominees, with the same level of thoughtfulness and integrity with which they inspire us.

We look forward to another great year.
